BYD Atto 2 debuts in Brussels - more details released
The Atto 2, the electric B-SUV with a 45.1 kWh battery and 288 miles city range, debuts in Brussels. It will arrive in February

BYD is increasingly determined to take Europe seriously. Proof of this is the Atto 2, the new electric B-segment crossover - one of the most important for the Old Continent market - unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show.
The company has not yet revealed the starting price, but has already revealed some interesting information. The official launch is scheduled for February.
BYD Atto 2, the exterior
With a length of 4.31 m, a width of 1.83 m and a height of 1.68 m, the Atto 2 is 15 cm shorter than the Atto 3 and has a wheelbase of 2.62 m, 10 cm shorter than its big sister.
At the front we find an even more rational look, with large full LED headlights integrated into the grille showing the BYD logo.

The grey plastic guards give a massive SUV look, while the dark insert on the C-pillar makes the flank more dynamic. At the rear is the now ever-present light bar that links the headlights with an original interlaced graphic reminiscent of the infinity symbol.
As standard, the BYD is available with Climbing Grey paintwork, while Hiking Green, Skiing White and Cosmos Black are available as options.

BYD Atto 2, the interior
On board, the Atto 2 echoes the styling seen on the other models in the range, including the Seal. Here, too, the dashboard has a minimalist look characterised by the rectangular instrument cluster display and large central infotainment screen.

The centre console provides a cup holder and an integrated armrest and there is also a driving mode selector. There is also a panoramic glass roof to increase the feeling of spaciousness in the cabin.
The boot has a minimum capacity of 400 litres (similar to that of the Dacia Sandero, one of the best-selling cars in Europe in 2024) and folding down the rear seats brings it up to 1,340 litres.
BYD Atto 2, engines and battery
Developed on the e-Platform 3.0, the BYD adopts Blade lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries produced in-house by the brand. At launch, the Atto 2 is offered with a battery with a nominal capacity of 45.1 kWh, providing a range of 194 miles in the combined cycle and 288 miles in the WLTP urban cycle. At a later stage, a variant with a larger battery and ranges that could exceed 250 miles will be introduced.
